The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower è un film uscito da poco nei cinema italiani, adattamento dell'omonimo romanzo scritto dall'americano Stephen Chbosky, inoltre regista dello stesso film, uscito dopo ben 13 anni dalla stesura del libro.

Come moltissimi film, anche questo è stato rinominato e "Noi siamo infinito" è stata, a mio parere, un azzeccatissima scelta, riprende una frase del libro e del film, una frase di un valore significativo immenso, la frase attorno alla quale ruota tutta la narrazione.

Una film straordinario, pazzesco, capace di farti ridere e piangere allo stesso momento; sullo sfondo troviamo una trama di esperienze di vita adolescenziale, di primi incontri e scontri con la realtà, a volte molto, forse troppo dura, della scuola superiore, le prime impressioni, lezioni, incontri, amici, pensieri, relazioni.

In questo film l'amore è visto nel suo più profondo significato, Amore scritto proprio cosi con la A maiuscola, perché è così che l'amore dovrebbe essere, un amore imprevisto, un amore improvviso, un amore senza limiti.
Non ti senti degno di ricevere questo amore perché è troppo perfetto, la persona che aspettavi è proprio lì davanti a te ma non puoi averla, non vuoi per paura perché "ognuno di noi accetta l'amore che pensa di meritare", questa è una frase di Charlie interpretato da Logan Lerman, ruolo emblematico in un attore che sa interpretare perfettamente la parte, già visto nei panni di Percy in "Percy Jackson e gli dei dell'Olimpo".

Ho riscoperto un Ezra Miller favoloso, fantastico, un'interpretazione impeccabile e magnifica, proprio in quel ragazzo che nel 2011 ha recitato nel difficile ed intricato ruolo di Kevin in "We need to talk about Kevin"

Bè che dire di Emma Watson, questo è forse un ruolo nuovo per lei, che dopo la saga di Harry Potter entra meravigliosamente nei panni di una ragazza ora felice e finalmente libera da un passato scomodo e difficile.
Più bella che mai, è la figura attorno alla quale girano le vicende profonde e riflessive della storia.

Nel film ho ritrovato un velo di quei bellissimi film francesi, indipendenti immersi in un'aurea di purezza e fragilità, di menage a trois e avventure adolescenziali.

Per tutta la sua durata avevo il cuore in gola, il fiato spezzato a volte trattenevo il fiato, ho riso ho pianto, mi sono commossa da morire, mi sono ritrovata in quelle storie, in quegl'intrecci di amore complicato di depressione acuta, divita irregolare ma perfettamente bella e delicata, di follia di dolcezza, speranza e spensieratezza.

Rientra sicuramente nella mia lista dei più bei film dell'anno!!

Ora lo vedo: il momento in cui sai di non essere una storia triste, sei vivo, e ti alzi in piedi, e vedi la luce dei palazzi, e tutto quello che ti fa stare a bocca aperta. E senti quella canzone, su quella strada, insieme alle persone a cui vuoi più bene al mondo, e in questo momento, te lo giuro, noi siamo infinito!" - Charlie

Joensuu

Joensuu is the the lively capital of the North Karelia Region in Finland. It is located next to the Russian border and about 400 km North-East from the capital of the country, Helsinki. Joensuu is a vital city with a growing and relatively young population. Of the total population of 73,000 almost 20,000 are pupils and students. Joensuu is also growing area-wise: From the 1.1.2009 the neighbouring municipalities of Eno and Pyhäselkä merged with Joensuu and increased the population up to 72,000.

Currently, the most important business areas include metal industry, wood and forestry sector, as well as expertise related to the border region and cross-border collaboration. Joensuu Regional Development company JOSEK Ltd in collaboration with other stakeholders foster the development of business activities in the area. Joensuu is also the forestry capital of Europe with a stronghold in research, inclusive the European Forest Institute and Joensuu Science Park. The population within the economic region of Joensuu totals up to 123,000.

Joensuu hosts as many as three higher education institutions, North Karelia University of Applies Sciences, University of Eastern Finland and HUMAK University of Applied Sciences and a number of vacational colleges and upper secondary schools.

Besides the higher education institutions, science and business scene, Joensuu is also a city where a number of recent Finnish films have been made, where you can find the Karelian folk (the most talkative ones in Finland) and where the summer rock festival (Ilosaarirock) is sold out every year months before the event. When going out of the city centre you can find silence, peace and nature like nowhere else in Europe.

Joensuu believes in regional and international cooperation as one of the motors for the development. This cooperation is materialised in numerous projects in different areas of expertise, within various networks and between different players. One of the strengths of Joensuu is the excellent and lively collaboration between the different stakeholders in the city.
